NATO PARTNERSHIP RUNNING FESTIVAL
NATO PARTNERSHIP RUNNING FESTIVAL
Participants of NATO RUN are welcomed with promising memorable and more exciting course, then ever.
Contrary to the previous years this year the race route will have been kept in Buda, passing along the river Duna. Starting from the Vérmező the itinerary drives athletes throw the Tunnel of Lánc Bridge touching one of the most beautiful and romantic parts of Budapest, Viziváros. From here this time runners will follow backwards the river line downhill until they reach Taban, where the route of the competition turns towards the Castle District back. In the last two kilometres, after leaving the building of Royal Palace behind, the road leads the runners up to the slope of Buda Castle Hill which puts to participants’ final strength to the test, but they will enter in an ancient and placid atmosphere of the oldest district. The finish area of the event will be stylishly paced on Kapisztrán Square in front of the Military History Museum. Near to it there is the most visited place of the capital, Mathias Church, next to the Fishermen’s Bastion offering breath taking views of Budapest. Furthermore here visitors will be greeted with more interesting and unique programmes over the running experience.
